Forget the restaurants this weekend...check out the Coors Light Kickoff & Rib Festival at Heinz Field, beginning Thursday, September 1st and continuing through Monday, September 5th.
Come celebrate the kickoff of the football season with five straight days of football, ribs and rock-n-roll, featuring:
A free performance by The Outlaws on Thursday, September 1st at 7:00pm.
A free performance by The Clarks on Friday, September 2nd at 9:00pm.
Steelers 5K Run & Walk on Saturday Morning.
Free Performances by Thompson Square (7:30pm) and Tracy Lawrence (9:00pm) on Saturday, September 3rd.
Bret Michaels wraps up the weekend with a free show on Monday, September 5th.
Plenty of nationally known rib vendors, Steelers Experience and festival activities all weekend long.
The University of Pittsburgh plays its season opener against the University at Buffalo at 6:00pm on Saturday, September 3rd at Heinz Field, with the Light the River Spectacular following the game.
