This week, Read The Stars’ Judi Vitale gets into the spirit of football season, starting off with the Indianapolis Colts’ QB Peyton Manning. “Can astrology make exact predictions about who will win a game, who will be playing the game, and what will happen to an injured player? Different astrologers would have varying ways of answering that question, but mine is "sometimes" in all cases. Here, let's look at what's going on with Peyton, and how we can use what we know about his astrology chart to assess the situation. (If you're unfamiliar with his injury and where it stands, read this article from the L.A. Times.)
Peyton Manning is
an Aries, born on March 26, 1976. There are some interesting planetary cycles going on for this record-breaking Super Bowl winner. His sun, at 6 degrees of Aries when he was born, would be the point we look at to assess his overall health. Pluto has been forming a stressful relationship with his sun since last spring, and will return to hit this point of difficulty again in December. Uranus is in the sign of his sun, and will come into a point where it is in the same degree during the summer of 2012. In July, Uranus will station to Retrograde at that point. At the same time these stressful situations are abrew, Peyton is having a return of his Jupiter, meaning he's starting a new 12-year cycle. The time while Jupiter is in Taurus, from now until mid June of 2012, will be lucky and protective toward Manning.

What does this mean?

In another Read The Stars article, Judi Vitale discusses balancing the brain with astrology and how humans struggle to use both sides of the brain at the same time.

Dolphins do it - why is it so hard for us? All this week of September 5th, we've been talking about the balance between the rational and the unreal, the detailed and the brush-stroke, real and unreal...
As individuals, it isn't always easy for us to use both sides of the brain. If we have a penchant for facts, figures and the concrete, it can feel unnatural to dance, sing or reate a work of art. If we're an artist, we feel like a 3-foot tall child dumped into the deep end the moment someone mentions algebra, algorhythms or chemical formulae. Still when we go about the exercise of interfacing with our world, no matter what we do, we have to use both parts of our brain. The key factor to the way one would express thoughts and words is through the sign Mercury is in when a person is born. Here's a listing of Mercury in each of the signs. If you know where your Mercury is, then this will be easy. If you haven't had your Mercury calculated, follow this link and enter your birth information. You'll soon find out which sign Mercury was in you first came into the world. Here we'll rate each sign's ability to balance both sides of the brain, and what they can do to make it easier.”
