It's been long rumored that the Batman sequel - "The Dark Knight Rises" - will be heading to Pittsburgh to film and it's now confirmed that on Saturday, August 6, the film will be shooting at Heinz Field. Thousands of movie extras are needed and being sought for the scene, which will be a game between the fictional Gotham Rogues and their rivals, the Rapid City Monuments.
Filming will run from 7:00am to 7:00pm. [It will be rescheduled if it rains.] Anyone 14 and older can participate, but if you are 18 or under, you have to be accompanied by an adult. Though extras will not be paid, door prizes, including a flat-screen TV, celebrity autographs, etc., can be won. Those who are interested much register at www.beinamovie.com.
