Russell Brand's "Hop" and "Arthur" in Control of April 8th's Weekend Box Office

Russell Brand is at the top of April 8's Weekend Box Office, starring in both the #1 and #2 movies, "Hop" and "Arthur." Holding strong in its #1 spot, as it debuted last week, "Hop" brought in $21.7 million. "Arthur," a remake of the 1981 Dudley Moore classic, brought in $12.6 million in its opening weekend.

Other films in their opening weekends include "Hanna," which came in at #3 with $12.3 million, "Soul Surfer" which came in at #4 with $11.1 million, and "Your Highness" which came in at #6 with $9.52 million.

Russell Brand is brilliant. His sense of humor is awesome. I will never understand why people argue over the silliest things. If you don't like him good for you, and if you do, good for you too.
