St. Jude's Fundraiser Event was held March 4-6 in California with a host of celebrities, including comic and corporate entertainer Mark Eddie. Only here can you read a synopsis of the weekend from Mark himself:

On March 4th, 5th and 6th, I had the honor and the pleasure of participating in the inaugural Patrick Warburton "Golf for Kids" Celebrity Tournament in Palm Desert, CA. The majestic "Classic Club" golf course is situated near the luxurious "J.W. Marriott Hotel & Spa." Great friends coming together for a great cause with breath-taking beauty and gorgeous surroundings made this a weekend to remember!

Even if you’ve never seen the sitcoms "Rules of Engagement" or "Seinfeld," you probably know my buddy Patrick Warburton. He’s easily the busiest voice-over artist in Hollywood. Lending his voice to a host of animated characters, most notably Fox’s Emmy-nominated "Family Guy" as the paraplegic and overzealous cop, Joe Swanson, and in Walt Disney's "The Emperor's New Groove" as Kronk. Patrick and his wife Cathy are two of my favorite people in the world. They are such a dynamic, connected couple and their kids are remarkable.

Fueled by themes of music and comedy, the charity event hosted about 200-300 people, namely Hollywood A-list celebrities such as Luke Perry, Megyn Price, Bianca Kajlich, Oliver Hudson, Alan Thicke, Rob Morrow, Robert Hays, John O'Hurley and dozens more. So, what was I doing there? I'm still asking myself that question!

I co-headlined a very special comedy showcase during Saturday night's gala dinner along with comedian Mike Wilson and actor/comedian David Spade. The show was a huge success. We all received rousing ovations and big laughs. Afterward, we all hung out together and ended up back on that stage together jamming with the band. Patrick sings a mean Eddie Vedder, let me tell you! And Mike Wilson's AC/DC voice is dead-on! What a blast! I also got to hang out with some of my favorite writer/comedians like the very talented Kevin Farley, brother of the late Chris Farley.

My pal Scott Medlock, the world renowned artist to the stars was on hand too. He is a PGA and Celebrity commissioned artist whose artwork is respected the world over. He's also one of the most giving people on this planet. Every year, Scott raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity events, auctions and the tournament that he founded to benefit "The Pat Tillman Foundation."

Everyone at the event had fun, but everyone was hyper-aware of the reason we were there. That reason was to help support a VERY worthy charity. For years, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who by reputation NEVER turns away a patient for financial reasons, has pioneered therapies and treatments for children with catastrophic illnesses. They are 70 percent privately funded and the operating costs are a staggering $1.5 million per day. We raised over $250,000 which is fantastic, but only amounts to a portion of one day's expenses. I also met several of the children, some of whom require full-time care at St. Jude Children's. One little girl named Elizabeth was so completely charming and sweet, that it brought a tear to my eye. Her positive attitude and warm spirit was evident in her memorable laugh when I did my Tigger impression for her! She beamed all over when Luke Perry sat on the floor and chatted with her for close to 15-20 minutes. I'll hold some of the memories from that night forever.
