“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” ruled March 25’s weekend box office and fought off its fiercest competitor, “Sucker Punch,” which came in at #2 with $19 million. Last week’s #1 movie, “Limitless,” still held strong, coming in at #3 with $15.2 million. And “Rango” is still on people’s minds, rounding out the top five, now having made a total of $106 million.

Aside from “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” earning the #1 spot, the movie cost $21 million to make and earned $24.4 million at the box office in its opening weekend. Earning the budget back in just one weekend - not bad. Check out the trailer:

Did you go to the movies this weekend? What did you see? Any recommendations?

Hi! I watched this film with my kids and they loved it. I never read any of the books (that's their mom's job...) but seeing this movie with them was an amazing experience. there is nothing better than to hear your kids laugh:)
