Next up in our comparing/contrasting: Movies. Was it a good year for movies in 2010? We had some mind-bending, dream-entering movies (Inception)…We had some tear-jerking while still laughing movies (Toy Story 3)…We had another Johnny Depp/Tim Burton collaboration, and this time in 3-D! (Alice in Wonderland)…We all have our opinions, so let's take several and throw them together. Compare and contrast.

Eonline's Best of Movies 2010: (I'm not sure if this list if a half-joke or not.
Piranha 3-D? Really?)
1. The Social Network
2. Black Swan
3. Inception
4. The Kids Are All Right
5. How to Train Your Dragon
6. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
7. 127 Hours

There appear to be several agreements occurring among these lists: The Social Network, Toy Story 3, Winter's Bone, The Kids Are All Right, 127 Hours, Black Swan, Inception.

The Social Network has been nominated for six Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture; Toy Story 3 has been nominated for Best Animated Feature Film, and Winter's Bone's Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated for Best Actress. The Kids Are All Right is up for three Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), while James Franco will fight for Best Actor at the ceremony for 127 Hours (along with two other nominations for the movie). Both Black Swan and Inception are up for four Golden Globes.

What do you think? Do you agree/disagree with the lists? Which one do you think is most accurate? What is your number one movie of the year? Who are you rooting for at the Golden Globes this year? Did they make it onto any of these lists? Let us know.
