Strong Sampling for CBS' Blue Bloods on Friday; Football-Ignited NBC Wins Sunday

Led by 12.8 million viewers for the debut of Blue Bloods, CBS won the first Friday of the new TV season. NBC dominated Sunday, meanwhile, thanks to The New York Jets vs. Miami, but there was also ample tune-in elsewhere.
