Listening to your podcast.

3 long seasons of hockey is not an excuse. The pens were not tired. Was Edmonton tired 83-85? were the islanders tired 80-84 (4 years!)? Was St. Louis (68-70) tired? Flyers (74-76)? Montreal (76-79)? (traveling to Europe can be an excuse). I get short offseasons. I get sid/malk/gonch and others played in the Olympics.

Game 7, sid penalty, don’t blame the refs. Blame sid.

By the way, we lost that series in game 4. Up 2-1 in games and in the score, we lost that game. That was the series.

The reason why unknown goalies work so well (and win) is cause teams don’t know how to play them. Remember the moose? He started 16-0 for the pens. As a rookie. Same with lalime. Same with halak. Same with Leighton.

The Canadiens stopped Crosby. Malkin was tired and had a terrible season.

Halak had a bad game 1 vs us. same with the flyers.

Pens pp was awful after game 1. 0 for 6 in game 7.

I think the flyers are getting carter back this week.

Playoffs = momentum. (see pens season last year)
