Dan Milano is finally getting another shot at destroying Western Civilization with his Character Warren The Ape.

I loved the Greg The Bunny Show... especially the IFC version, though they were all pretty fucking cool. I discovered the show one thanksgiving day, during a marathon, that blew me away so much that I wrote Dan a letter. He is the voice behind the puppets, and the hand up their asses.

Dan was kind enough to let me write some about Warren The Ape, which basically meant I pretended like I was one of his long suffering drinking and drugging buddies telling tales out of school. I really had a great time writing that stuff. Very Gonzo, Hunter S. Thompson.

Born William Mays in McKees Rocks, Pa., on July 20, 1958, TV Pitchman Billy Mays passed away yesterday. Another out-of-nowhere sad celebrity death. Billy brought great energy and fun to his craft. He will be missed but his Infomercials will live forever.

Billy Mays Had Heart Disease, Medical Examiner Says

TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida medical examiner says television pitchman Billy Mays likely died of a heart attack but further tests are needed.

Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams said Monday the boisterous, bearded 50-year-old known for hawking Oxiclean suffered from hypertensive heart disease. He was found dead Sunday in his Tampa home. A day earlier he bumped his head during a rough landing on a commercial airliner, but Adams says there there was no evidence of head trauma.

He says Mays was taking the prescription painkillers Tramadol and hydrocodone for hip pain. But Adams says there was no indication of drug abuse, and pill counts showed Mays had been taking the correct amount of the drugs.

(AP) LOS ANGELES "Tonight" host Conan O'Brien paid tribute to Ed McMahon as a "truly funny man" whose partnership with Johnny Carson on the late-night show is an indelible part of TV history.

"It is impossible, I think, for anyone to imagine `The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson' without Ed McMahon," O'Brien said during Tuesday's show.

"Ed's laugh was really the soundtrack to that show. For 30 years Ed played his part perfectly, he played it with effortless joy," said O'Brien, who became host of "Tonight" this month.

Sitting alongside Carson, McMahon was part of "the most iconic two-shot in broadcasting history. There will never be anything like that again," O'Brien said.

McMahon, who played second banana on "Tonight" until Carson retired in 1992, died early Tuesday at age 86 after prolonged illness.

For Lynn Swann, this Hall is right down his alley

The former NFL star will be inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame, in honor of his promotional work for the game. He joins fellow former Pittsburgh Steeler Jerome Bettis in the Celebrity Wing.

Eight years after being inducted at Canton, Lynn Swann is Hall of Fame-bound again.

Today at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Swann will be inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame. Swann has done promotional work for the game and bowls with his family about twice a month.

"I'm just an all-right bowler," Swann says. "Never had a 300 game. I'm usually in the mid-to-upper 100s."

Swann is the third recipient to make the Hall's Celebrity Wing -- and surprisingly, not the first football player. Swann was preceded by fellow former Pittsburgh Steeler Jerome Bettis.

Swann has played host to the NFL Super Bowl Celebrity Bowling Classic for the last three years and served as a lane-side reporter for CBS' "Clash of the Champions" in 2008.

Hello friends of the Vintage Grand Prix! The 2009 Kick Off Rallye is coming up quickly and we're looking for members of the local media to compete!

Mark your calendar for Sunday, July 5th for the 2009 Charity Kick Off Rallye. Come out and challenge two-time defending Media Challenge champion Greg Joseph, bassist for the rock band The Clarks, and his navigator (who shall remain nameless). The Rallye will once again start on South Craig Street in Oakland and will end with a party at Geno's Restaurant in Lawrenceville.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with rallying, here's the skinny: The rallye is a family-friendly event in which the participants follow a prescribed route which they have to complete in a set amount of time. Each team consists of a driver and navigator participating in their own vehicles. Certainly we're looking for interesting cars but we have families in their minivans all the way up to exotic sports cars. Please check out this link for more info as well as a photo gallery from last year's event. A more comprehensive description of the event is below.

What is a Rallye?: A rallye is a time/distance competition on a mystery course on public streets. The drive usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. All traffic laws apply. The goal is to arrive at each timing station, also known as check points, in the exact time prescribed in your route instructions. Penalty points are assessed for being early or late to your checkpoint. In the route instructions, there will usually be questions pertaining to things that you see along the rallye route. Penalty points are also assessed for incorrect answers. Each team consists of a Driver and Navigator. The navigator's main responsibility is to read the route instructions to the driver.

Trophies: Awards are presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, Celebrity Challenge winning team, and Spirit of the Event Award.

What we hope to achieve by having the Media/Celebrity Challenge is to draw further attention to and increase participation in the rallye thus raising more funds for the charity since participants pay an entry fee to run the rallye. This fee will be waived for Media/Celebrity Challenge participants.

Adam Lambert finally confirms his sexuality in the new issue of Rolling Stone (on stands tomorrow).

"I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay," the American Idol runner-up says.

"I'm proud of my sexuality," continues the rocker, who was photographed holding hands with interior designer Drake LaBry earlier this month. "I embrace it. It's just another part of me."

ABOUT MEGAN WOLFLEY

Growing up as the only daughter of Pittsburgh Steeler Craig Wolfley, Megan was surrounded by football her entire life. Though she did not follow in his giant footsteps in sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers approached her in 2003 to broadcast with her father. The funny and opposing dynamics between them caught the attention of the Steelers audience and have made them an uncommon duo in sports broadcasting. She continues to be featured on Steelers TV and Steelers 24/7.

Megan also works in production as well. She is the floor director for the McDonald's Steelers KidZONE show and one of the graphic designers for in-game productions for all Steelers home games. During the 2007 football season, Megan was an intern at FSN Pittsburgh. There, she learned all the in's and out's of network broadcasting from behind to in front of the camera.

In spring 2008, Megan was cast in her first feature film, She's Out of My League (Spring 2010) as a Scandinavian Model. Soon after, she was cast in her first SAG role as a principal in Sorority Row (release date: October 2, 2009) as Sorority Sister Megan.
