  • The Las Vegas Police Department has just issued a statement about the fight between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee after the VMAs last night in Las Vegas: "A little after 8:00 PM last night we received a call that a disturbance had occurred at the MTV Video Music Awards. We had a lot of officers working in and around the awards so they got her fairly quickly. We determined that the altercation was between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. After our investigation, Kid Rock did receive a citation for misdemeanor battery. Everyone involved was interviewed."   • TMZ cameras caught Paris Hilton, looking flapperific in a hot pink number at LAX Nightclub in the Luxor Hotel last night. Everything was going smoothly until she jumped the mic and blurted. "I want everyone to say congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world, Christina Aguilera. You're gorgeous!" Problem is, Aguilera has never publicly confirmed her pregnancy! Xtina and hubby Jordan Bratman initially looked shocked, but then quickly recovered. Source: tmz.com
  • Saturday night, Justin Timberlake and "SNL" regular Andy Samberg won a Creative Arts Emmy for their hilarious "SNL" short film, "D**k in a Box," about a very special gift. In Andy's acceptance speech, he joked, "I think it's safe to say that when we first set out to make this song, we were all thinking 'Emmy!'" Samberg dedicated the award to a real "up and comer" -- his "D*ck in a Box" creative partner, saying Timberlake's "clearly very talented and could use a break. So, Justin, if you're out there, congrats to you, kid."
  • TV Guide's Michael Ausiello reports that Alyssa Milano will be joining the cast of "My Name is Earl" to play Jason Lee's love interest. In other child star news, Henry Thomas -- Elliott of "E.T."-- will be joining "Without a Trace" to play the nemesis of head guy Anthony LaPaglia.
  • MTV Greenlights Tila Tequila Dating Show, Debuts Oct. 9 MTV has greenlit a bisexual dating show with a star who built her fame on MySpace. “A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila” is scheduled to premiere on MTV Oct. 9. {A Note from "talent Network News" Blogger Frank Murgia- "When MySpace People are getting TV show's this is a sign of the Apocolypse. TV has officially jumped the shark. My TV and Tivo are on ebay." Horrible, Ugh!}
