Live from Hollywood...

  • Police arrested Austin Nichols, the actor who starred in the HBO show “John From Cincinnati” and appeared in the series “Deadwood,” early Friday on suspicion of DUI in Jackson, Mich. Cops report that Nichols blew a .10 and was arrested.
  • That much-hyped and much-derided Fox series "Anchorwoman" got the ax after just one airing Wednesday night. The show starred a former WWE Diva Lauren Jones trying to make it as an anchor in the TV news biz in Texas
  • Kirsten Dunst’s hotel room was robbed earlier this month. Shortly after the 'Spiderman' star left her suite at the Soho Grand Hotel to film scenes for her new movie How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, Jarrod Beinerman and an unknown accomplice entered the room, swiping thousands of dollars worth of stuff. The New York Post says: Beinerman allegedly walked through an open door into the penthouse and stole items belonging to Dunst and her companions, including $2,500, a Marc Jacobs purse, wallets containing IDs and credit cards, several bags - including one by Balenciaga - two digital cameras, a cell phone and an iPod, records state. Most of the high-value items - including the bag valued at $13,000 - were Dunst’s.

  • The Nielsen Company estimates the total number of television households in the U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii) will move up to 112.8 million by January 1, 2008.
