A Japanese study has shown that green tea lowers the risk of heart disease.
40000 participants in ages 49 – 79 years old drank 5 or more cups of green tea every day.

The result was an overall drop in cardiovascular disease with 28%. For women it dropped even more to 31%.

Attention green chai tea drinkers! If you add milk to your tea the positive effect is gone.

So drink as much plain green tea as you can.
